$3.19/gallon here in Oklahoma City. I appreciate the Yaris, too bad my wife's and my daughter's cars get about half it's mileage. *sigh*

Last time prices went up like this we started car pooling in the yaris. Might be time to start thinking about that again.

I'm right there with you. Don't remember the last time I got a raise, but it everything hasn't stopped going up. Which is part of the reason why I bought another Yaris. My Ram gets 13 mpg on a good day and my fiancee's Trailblazer gets about 17 mpg. We drive her car most of the time because it's tough getting 4 people in a Reg cab truck. With sports we put some miles on the cars, the Yaris will probably just about pay for itself in fuel savings for us.

Filled up the Yaris for the first time last night, I was happy to see the pump stop before the card limit kicked in. I couldn't even fill my Dodge up because it holds more than $75 of the cheap stuff.

The rest of the world has long been paying much higher prices for gasoline. Why we Americans are taking the low prices for granted like spoiled brats?

If one doesn't like to pay so much, they can sell their damn SUV or TRUCK and noone is stopping them. In fact, it's going to be easier to breath to those babies who are suffering asthma due to exhaust pollution from these damn useless SUVs and TRUCKS that are wastefully driven by single drivers, on under inflated tires, to rent a video or buy fast food....

Suck up the gas price and stop complaining. If you don't like to pay the real price for gasoline, use this:

Instead of this:

For the last couple of weeks I've been seeing more and more Yaris liftbacks on the roads. Earlier today when I was waiting for the green light at an intersection I saw a family of 5 outside of KFC squeezing into a 07-08 3-door Yaris liftback. In my area the lowest price I've seen for a gallon of gasoline is $3.60.

I have one.. but I think my yaris gets better fuel mileage. Besides, it's tough hauling kids and a wife on the back of a motorcycle.. Sidecar FTW!

When I had my ninja 250 it was getting over 75MPG US. It was costing me a whole $16-18 to fill and would get 400-450km/tank.

Now my CBR 250RR gets only 55MPG but its a million times better.

Nice bikes.. The new Ninja 250s are really cool looking, I had an '05 250 it was fun to ride. It was actually my ex wife's bike, although I put more miles on it then she did.

My Honda 929 may get 30mpg if I can behave myself, which is rare. lmao

2012 marks the greatest year ever to buy a small car. At least half of all the small cars available in the US are fully redesigned for 2012 and look fantastic.

As I posted in another thread, here's whats fully redesigned or new for 2012 as far as small cars go. (for America)...

Yaris
Focus
Accent
Rio
iQ
Fiat 500
Sonic
Civic
Versa?

All new for 2011 was the...

Fiesta
Cruze
Elantra
Mazda2

Definitely sticker shock looking at the pumps this week. Last week, it was around $3.15/gal regular. Now, it's $3.39/gal. Geez!

I recommend everyone go out and buy some vaseline. Things are about to get painful.
