Based on pimp my Yaris thread, it seems 2.25" was the way to go. Could I buy his blow off valve that is currently sitting in 2.5 piping, and put it in 2.25 piping? Thanks again.

if anyone is still subscribed, turns out i can't clock my turbo due to internal wastegate, so im doing research on an external conversion without tapping into manifold.

The BOV is probably going to need a custom mount, but I have no idea without looking at it. Otherwise there's no reason it wouldn't work.

So you have an actuator on the turbo, correct? I don't see why you wouldn't be able to clock it...

check the pics out, if i clock the turbo, that cross beam won't have an attachment site. let me know if you say otherwise.

Yeah you're right - it looks like it can't be clocked very much due to the actuator.

But why do you think you need to clock it? If you use either the Zage manifold or Garm's, the compressor out should be facing up. You're going to need to have the piping custom fabricated anyway.

i guess when i looked at pimp yaris' thread, when he had it attached to manifold, it looked like they had a good 120+ angle between them. if im wrong, and mine will work as is with a little custome piping, then im happy. bought a blow off valve and boost controller today, will post pics soon. looking at flange sets right now.

hmm...i guess i wasn't even thinking about how the manifold will run down which my angle would then shoot the towards the back of my car as it sits...right? hm. the only thing is that (unless when i add the flange it makes a difference) when i sit the manifold on the turbo, the compresser flange area won't let the mani sit flush.

Tomorrow im going to trade the oversized jdm sport intercooler that came with the kit for the slim but long intercooler that everyone else has on here.

Now i want to get gauges and want one of them to be AFR gauge, any suggestions on a good gauge? i wanted to do the glowshift pillar that comes with 3 gauges for $140, but the AFR gauge they have only works with narrowband, not wide band. any suggestions?

I've used both the AEM UEGO and Autometer's C2 series wideband - both are great.

Glowshift is not a good brand if you want gauges you can count on.

so i finally stopped being dumb, and figured out how to clock it. i just need a new bracket. question-in the close up pic of the bolt, it shows that its two pieces, that's normal right? when i undid bolts. cause if it was one piece, it wouldn't come apart...right?

I cant believe I didnt see this thread before. Turbo looks usable, looks like a gt25 knock off. I can tell U one thing for sure. After many months of tunning headaches, there is no way to run a properly tuned car with a mass air flow sensor and a BOV. If U want it to run smooth and never dye out. You need to go stand alone with a manafold pressure sensor or recirculate blow off gases back into the intake. I just installed a hose to recirculate my BOV gases and my car has never run better. I would buy a BOV that you can attach a hose to. Just a sugestion. This project is sure to bring some heavy stress but if you finish it your car will be a lot more fun to drive. Good luck.

Yeah, I've been picking up t25 parts and they seem to work pretty well. So i need to go with a whole different bov to be safe. Then ill be able to keep my maf if I reroute bov gases to intake? Thank you. Any mote suggestions?
