I can't explain it any better. Go out to your car and locate the bulb. You see where it is. Take a hold of the back of what is holding the bulb in the headlight. Turn counter clockwise to release. and pull back. Pull the old bulb out and push the new one in. Don't push down on the face of your new LED. Turn your headlight switch one click to make sure the new LED comes on. If it does not you need to pull it out turn it and replace. This is what I am talking about when I say (polarity). Now go do it.
You don't need shop class for this. This is no more complicated than a child proof cap.

Thanks. I assumed that they were somehow sealed in the headlight assembly. Got them changed out and they look great.
The one on the passenger side was kind of hard to remove though. |

Glad to hear it. I knew if I could get you to go pop your hood you would have no problems.

They look kind of weird with the stock headlights. I can't afford a HID kit now so I'll probably order some OSRAM SilverStars.

Open your owners manual, it even shows there. Pop your hood, and you will see the bulb socket right there.. twist it, and replace. |

Yeah, usually before doing even simple things like this, I look around for manuals, etc. that give me a clue of how to do it. This case was no different. Looked at the manual first and saw something about having to take the front bumper off.
I guess I should start doing it the opposite way from now on. :p |

No, you did right by looking into it first, but keep in mind, Toyota will make you think you need to do all those steps, just so you "think" you need to take it in, and have the dealer do it.
The manual though, does show just how easy it is to replace... Im talking about the manual in your glovebox, not a service manual. |

no wonder they charge for 2 hours if you ever go there for a bulb change! my father in law have a cady cts and to take the headlight off you need to take off the bumper he replaced his 2 headlight bulb, park light on the week end and it took them 3 hours! and he is working in the bodyshop environment
