![]() I dont want someone to hold my camera - adds too much weight to the car. I'm just waiting for the rain to clear, roads are wet. Its been raining here for 3 weeks straight! Any more suggestions on the cam? I was going to tape it to my hat. Its a micro camera only 2 X 2.5" and about 1/4" thick. Now I gotta go find a hat ... ps: I only do one shift (1>2) and run the motor in redline and to the fuel cutoff to get to 60, BTW. |

150 pounds in a whole 1/4 mile is maybe .15 seconds max.

Well I've let everyone down lol, right at 8 seconds. The road was at a slight incline. Here's the link, but since I just posted it I don't know if you can watch it yet. If not, just keep checking back.

The fastest I have ever seen in my friend's manual Yaris sedan on his dash hawk was 10.1. The fastest I have gotten in my car with it is 5.8, so it seems accurate enough.

Im with ya bro. I have an 09, and Ive been driving for some time myself in all kinds of different situations with cars and bikes. The car can do what you say. Its the drivers that argue it wont that cant. Nice Launch, and nice shift to 2nd. Thats where you pull the times.

PK no offense but you asked for a video so I went out and made a video for you to watch and see. I use am app on my phone that uses the GPS and accelerometers to time it. Seems accurate as it is right with my video. On that run I posted it declared I ran 8.05 second 0-60. I honestly feel no need to further prove myself to anyone as I claimed one thing, got called a liar, posted a video of me doing it and still get called a liar. I'm sorry you can't run a 10 sec 0-60, I really am, but I can. Believe it or not, I dooont care.

Me thinks the throttle response all depends on how the ECU reads your driving habits. I am not at all dissatisfied. But for those who are here is something I spotted. It is a drive by wire tensioner and tightens the wire (red) that goes from your ecu to your throttle. This should tighten the wire and thus reduce throttle response lag.
Nubes beware! I am told it takes expert knowledge to properly install one of these. Last edited by Bob Dog; 07-09-2009 at 10:37 PM. |

Now that the weather is really warm guess what? The throttle lag is almost non existant and the horrible droning of the exhaust system on acceleration is pretty much gone too. I have a bad feeling it will return when it gets colder later in the year...
