Do you mean that with larger tire dia. i could lower my rpm at constant speed or it really has to do with the transmission too?

one correction. 10.5:1 is fairly high compression, not low. I'm guessing CRX compression is even higher

crx on a stock si is 9.5:1.. i guess i was corrected that 6 octane makes a difference on a non tuned stock yaris. i assumed toyota would make a eco car to run on any gas equally. i gots lots to learn on this new found toy i gots. learning new stuff everyday.
