holly shit awesome thread! sticky it LOL

when you look at your yaris and think: would a 4efte turbocharged engine fit in this engine bay?

when you're running out of gas by the end of the month but you don't put any gas in because you want to wait for your next paycheck to pay for it, eventhough you saved some money on gas

When you shift someone elses MT and wonder if it went into second because it was too easy.

That's one of the first things I tested when i went to the dealership. Being able to turn on a dime is crucial if you ever want to park around here !

When you look for your car in a parking lot and see it right away because it's the only one that stands out.

Or you can't find your car because two SUVs parked next to it in the parking lot so you have to look directly into each spot, peering around the huge rears of all the trucks.

Quite the opposite... I can never seem to find it since it's hidden behind bigger cars. The panic button on the keyless entry came in handy last week after a long search. :-)

You get caught in the speedtrap around the corner from the house, but get off with a `warning' and promise "not to do it again".

Largely because the officer mistakes the Yaris for a hybrid and you freely admit to trying to coast to your driveway.

"I didn't think those cars could go that fast..."

Guess I am stuck with DFCO on the last mile now.

The Yaris is bigger and stands higher than my last car (Honda CRX) so I find it much easier to see. Plus my Yaris is bright red so I can spot it right away but I know what you mean about not seeing your car when it's parked between 2 SUV's.

You know you've had a Yaris too long when you borrow a friends car and can't park it.

You know you've had a Yaris too long when you borrow a friends car and touch the accelerator and get thrown back in your seat like a space shuttle launch.

You know you've had a Yaris too long when you get in a mates car and cant find a hidey hole for stuff.

..You find your buddy's clutch to be "too nice"

..You know exactly how to carry it home if it were to break down

..You get a buzz from your heater

..You can't remember how a gas pump works

..You're digging around under the driver's seat of another car looking for the jack

..You're scratches have started a colony

..You're friends stop making fun of you after their bigger cars have to be towed

..You actually start to like how yours dances on the freeway on windy days

Um, no it doesn't. Not even close.

I just got 42.2 from my Yaris on the second tank, which I'm very happy with. I'm elated in fact! But the 1200cc 94 sportster gets around 60mpg consistantly, and it moves you there so much faster doing it.

If I ride it hard, I can get it down to 50 a tank pretty easy.

I've never really got on it enough for long enough to take it down below 45 average on those 2 gallons.
