The people on here whining about when its coming or releasing sound like the same people who are Android forums waiting for a new updated ROM release for their smartphones...
Its a FREE service someone is going out of their way to provide us. It will be ready when its ready... I dont see any of you people giving him a hand in it, so zip it, sit tight, and wait for it. When someone releases an updated ROM for a phone, and when there are bugs in it, people whine about it...I dont get it.. You just whined about not having it, now you whine about bugs in it? CTScott doesnt want any bugs in it, only perfection.....so just please wait for it. |

I'm willing to wait for it. It will be such an intuitive piece of the car, and you know for sure nobody else will ever undertake this.
I'm just glad we have a member of our own community that's willing to spend his time on it. |

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific. |

Kickstarter would actually be a great way to go. That would force me into some milestones as well as give me the capital necessary, without having to put it up out of pocket.
I have a consulting job that I will be wrapping up the second week of June, that once complete, will give me some free time. Within the next couple of weeks I will setup the kickstarter.

There's also a point where it'll be pointless since the car it was originally meant to go in has changed (center mounted cluster is no more in the 2012 Yaris).

It's not about the money, it's about the time. Scott has to work for a living, and has a family to support and spend time with. He's stated numerous times he WILL get this project done, but work and family come first.
It won't be "pointless" to get it done, as 90% of us will still have our Yaris when it is completed and are still looking forward to it.
