Sooks.
I believe due notice was given in post #64.

FYI, we had a similar thread way back when... and it degenerated into a name calling rant.

Can we just make a mature and reasonable comparison of some of the features of and available upgrades for the two cars without the folishness?
I still fail to see how at all post #64 notifies me that you deleted my post. Notification that you deleted my post would be a post of your own stating so or even a more polite thing would be a pm.

This is a forum right? A place where people can voice their own opinions, right?

I just made this thread to see the amount of sedan vs lb users, not for bashing each others cars

Lets keep it clean and to the point, both are great cars and have advantages/disadvantages depending on the owner.

a few bills might come in handy to make it manual... not the easiest thing to do but worth it if you really want it... and if you do

Tony, I'm sorry, but this is exactly the kind of behavior that turned previous threads to crap and it's happening again. So consider this your warning, everyone else too, let's have some respect.

Whoa! A mod that speaks before he acts. I applaud you Thomas for having enough respect to make a post telling me i've gone too far. Unlike another moderator who just deletes posts as they see fit.

I won't name names but if you'e read the whole thread you know who i'm talking about. Once again, Thanks Thomas and I will heed your warning.

Wow, big surprise, everyone has a different opinion on the hatch vs sedan (yeah, I know in Toyota lingo it is a "liftback;" but in normal automotive terminology it is a hatchback).

I've driven both, a sedan as a rental car and now I won a hatchback. They are both nice cars but obviously different. I got a hatchback as we have a Honda Odyssey and a Jeep Wrangler, so I didn't need something to haul the family or large items around. I needed a small commuter car that was fun to drive and got good gas mileage (to offset the 15 MPG I get with the Jeep). I had a VW Passat wagon with the VR6 and 5-speed that was really a driver's car, and I do miss the fun of driving it; but it was time for it to go.

I think the debate between the hatchback and sedan is ridiculous, it's comparing apples and oranges. Both are great cars that fit different needs, and either can be mod'd to look and drive really cool!

Cheers! M2

And we call it the Yaris Hatchback (as is proper) here in Canada.

I have the stock sedan handles better than the LB. Even with a rear sway the sedan still handles better.

If I get tired of waiting for the Scion iQ I might spring for a sedan. The extra room means a lot to occasional passengers.
