My youngest daughter was 10 months old and had a febrile seizure. It went on for at least 20 minutes. Just before the paramedics arrived I was holding her in my arms and she turned the most horrible shade of bluish/purple I have ever seen in my LIFE. (she then vomited and came back...) Later, when I took a CPR class in case it ever happened again, I learned from the instructor that it was the vomiting that saved her. If it hadn't been for that she was gone.

*sigh*...that was a long time ago but when I think back all those same terror/panic feelings come back.

What is something you've done that was far out of your box...went out on a ledge...
