Waiting for the exhaust. I was going to go to Slowmotion but I changed my mind. I joined Forced 4s, which is a forced induction car club from the Cleveland area. One of the members does exhausts and I'm going through him. I want to do a center exit dual tip setup but I'm not sure if it will be feasible yet. I have to see how much clearance it would leave me in the rear. Here are some pics from the meet on Thursday.
This is either a Solstice or a Sky. Can't remember which. Hahn Racecraft turbo setup that pushes over 300 WHP. Placed 10th in X class last year. Probably a top 5 car now. Forced-009.gif Forced-010.gif GMC Syclone. Something you don't see every day! These are uber rare! less than 3,000 made! This had a GT35R turbo pushing 25ish psi. 10 second pickup truck. Forced-011.gif Forced-008.gif Imported twin turbo banana yellow JDM right hand drive RX7. x 4038568 Forced-018.gif Pics of the crowd and the cars. There were probably 50 or so cars that came. By the end of summer that number could triple. Forced-012.gif Forced-015.gif Forced-016.gif Forced-022.gif One you may recognize. Forced-017.gif |

So how many people there were like "Holy shit is that a boosted Yaris" Also why do you hate the exhaust so much?

Everyone was saying "holy shit that is a boosted Yaris." Nobody was ragging on me. It was refreshing. As of right this second I can claim I'm the only one in the states until Garm gets his on the ground. The unique factor always wins amongst cookie cutter DSM's and SRT-4's.
I hate the exhaust for two reasons. One, it rattles against the heat shield. Two, and this is my big pet peeve, but it sticks out too far from the bumper. It must DIE! Also, it has no catalytic converter, and I'm all for power but I'm not all for not passing e-check when the time comes, so I'm putting a high-flow cat back in the system. Flame away, but you won't change my mind. |

Yup, I did my center exit WAAAAAY long ago. You can even do it on the factory exhaust if you really wanted to.
