Which bulb is used for the running lights? You know, the amber ones that are on the SIDES of the headlights, not the front.
EDIT: Well, I just went outside and froze my ass off in 48* rain to find out, curiosity had the better of me. Looks to be a 194. Last edited by Midnight Drifter; 04-23-2011 at 04:36 AM. |

^ They are 194 wedges but unless you take apart the headlight and delete the amber reflector, any color you put in there is going to come out amber.

I think I can concluded the maplights are 194 wedge lights, along with the license plate. I am confused with the dome lights and trunk. I am checking superbrightLED.com and it said dome lights and trunk use this light bulb: http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...toon/238/1131/ All three use DE3175? Head Lamp ajustment
I’m sorry, I don’t know if there is already a post for this but I took advantage of this tread to ask you guys how to adjust the height of you head lamp lights, there is no adjustment bolt like other cars I had. Mine is a 2001 echo 4door AT.

very informative thread. I have a Vitz RS (JDM) which uses dual beam headlights. HID for the low beams (top) & halogen for the High's. I wanna get super white halogens which look better & are brighter but I don't know the type of bulbs to get. Anyone?

I'm going to add that the festoon for the Sedan is 31mm if you need a size. As for the Wedge, I noticed that there is room for a longer wedge bulb there so I'll be ordering a longer one to see if that helps back there without going to an adapter and panel setup. As far as experimenting, I'll try to put the longer one into the map light for shits and giggle to see if it will fit.
