When you have a weighty object on the front passenger seat, just buckle up the seat belt and no beeping.

Hey! Who said you could spout common sense all over the place just coz you felt like it?!?
I find the seat-belt helps to stop sh!t falling on the floor when some a$$hole jumps out in front of me, too. Amazing how useful those things are....

"Outterhere, You apparently are getting your threads mixed up as I never called you a spoiled brat. That was posted by SailDesign..."

Sorry, Forrest; it IS hard to keep you and Sail separate in my mind... You're sort of like "bookends of abuse" or "stereo speakers of harrassment"... Or Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum...

I always put my groceries on the floor and if it's something that's too big for that space, it goes in the back - like my propane tanks.

Almost always. I count on that happening. I try to "corral" the bags with the gallon(s) of milk.

Sorta back on topic (is there even a topic here anymore?), I spilled 7-11 Slurpees on my passenger seat a couple of times before when the lid was not closed properly... Hard to keep it balanced, and putting them in the cupholders for a short trip is just a PITA...

So I used my flexible gorillapod camera tripod, wrapped around the seat's top harness holes, to act as a hook to hold on the loops of the plastic bag that holds the Slurpees! Amazing what a little ingenuity can do
