im out for this event. im broke so im waiting for the family dinner tonight for a free meal, haha...

any weekend day events coming up?

im really trying to make it out to these events but with kids who arent particularly in to cars i have to pass. ill get out there soon. :-)

It was fun seeing everyone. Congratulations to Gus for getting the fastest time from our group!

There was a lot of traffic out on track making it difficult to get a clean fast lap but it seemed like everyone had a great time!

1. Gus (not a YW member yet) 24.7
2. Cheko's lady 26.0
3. cheko 26.8
4. str8Yaris 26.9

Pretty sure that's the order from memory, I didn't write down the exact times. Everyone went home with some sort of prize since there were so few of us.

Looking forward to the next meet, hopefully we get a bigger turnout!

sorry, i meant for the meets to be earlier in the day/afternoon. saturday and sunday work for me.

for example, i own a datsun truck and they have this meet that comes i think every 3 months that is a swapmeet and a carshow. people show up in the morning for the deals but the cars/trucks dont stop rolling in until 12 and that event ends i think at 3pm.

just throwing out an idea. i know i will make it to a meet one day.

Oh, man, I missed it! I guess it doesn't matter since Sylmar is almost 3 hrs away...so I wouldn't have gone anyway. Plus I'm at home in Georgia. All well. Hopefully you guys will make the December meet closer to San Diego! ;DD

I will keep suggesting it until it happens. x3

Don't they separate the lots for show and spectators? you may park in the show lot
