Best upgrade so far.
Falken ziex 912 195/60r15 on the the oem wheels. wwwwwaaaaayyyy better than the econo passenger tires the car came with. The car is glued to the road ! Brake later, gas earlier, feel better! Next I'm trying the new Falken Azenis.
Moses ps. no i didn't choose my licence plates, thats the way the car came... and i dont have a problem with 420 users , ganja is just another trippy herb God made. jajajajaj. Last edited by Moses; 04-07-2010 at 09:31 PM. |

i've heard good things about the azensis. my only problem with the falkens i had were how few miles they took me, i think it was around 20,000, of course this was on a Saab Viggen with 17" tires.

The 912 (and it's predecessor, the 512) is good for an all-season tire. If you happen to require 13" street tires, it's one of the few options, and sadly among the best available in those sizes.
But, you're going to be blown away with how much better the Azenis are. The original Azenis RT-215 was a VERY noisy tire. The Azenis RT-615 has a tread pattern that is much quieter. The new Azenis RT-615K shares that tread pattern. |

Yea, the RTs aren't quiet. But If you're rocking an exhaust, I don't think it'll matter.

Good choice using Falkens. I upgraded to the 502's after my OEMs wore-out.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/bridge...tone-tires.jsp The Yaris uses the all-season Potenza RE-92, which happens to be the same tire model that came on a new Geo Metro that I bought in 1993, if that tells you anything. (very old technology) Look at the Tire Rack survey results on this one, 2.4 out of 10 would not buy again. It was actually a decent tire in its day, but it has been left behind by better tires. |

Looks good. I've just recently bought a set of OE EM7s and some TRD springs. Not sure just yet what tire size I want to run...but a 195/60 is 1 of 3 sizes I'm considering. |
