Split 60/40 Backseat

Hi Yaris Folks,
My Yaris has a solid one piece backseat that folds down. I need a split backseat.
I'm willing to pay $200 plus give you my solid seat in exchange for your split seatback.
Mine is black with little lightblue dots and it's very clean, in excellent shape. I don't care if yours matches my interior. I'm told that the seats are interchangable.
I'm in Central New Hampshire and willing to drive a couple of hours or perhaps more if I'm going that way anyway.
I don't check this forum often but you can reach me at (603) 267-7227 or lisahasler@prodigy.net
Thanks. -Lisa

Welcome to YW Lisa

Wow I've seen quite a few of these requests since I joined. I'm sorry I use my 60/40 often, so they're not going anywhere

FYI, you might not wanna post your number or email on a public forum because we do get visits from spammers, and you probably don't wanna risk getting prank-called or spam mail lol. You can always use private messaging through your user name though

yea my one regret with this car is i didn't get split rear seats; does toyota sell it outright on the parts? i assume not, or it's too expensive since you're asking here.

Just an FYI: Due to the screwed up trucking regulations in the U.S. right now it will cost you $400+ just to ship it in from a few States away, making it cost prohibitive.

As such it'll be best to deal locally, if you can find a source.

Buying at the dealer might cost a lot due to the fact that ( usually ) when it comes to seats they only sell them in their smallest parts.

This was the case when I wanted to get new seats for my old Accord back in the day and they wanted to sell me one seat in about 17 different pieces that totaled up to about $1700.

This is incorrect, Bailout. Greyhound will ship from any station to just about any other station, and that part (about a hundred pounds) will cost $100 or less to ship, even cross country. Great service, fast delivery.

I ship bumpers, seats and wheels this way all the time.

The only drawback is the recipient has to pick it up from the station.

Ahh - ingenious! I never thought of using Greyhound like that. When I wanted to ship a seat I only looked at traditional carriers, all of which quoted outrageous prices, and all which claimed it was because it was "car parts".

It's a secret - don't tell anyone.

About the usual carriers (UPS/FedEx/USPS) - you are correct, large/oversize/heavy packages are outrageous to ship.
