Spotted a Blue 4 door Echo hatchback from
Canada . Good lookin' little car . http://images.search.yahoo.com/image...fr=yhs-invalid . Wish this car was available in the U.S., would've considered it . The 2014 MIRAGE looks similar . Anyone have or had a Echo hatch ? Wonder how the F.E. is with the auto or manual .

My buddy has an 05 hatch, and the FE is about the same as mine, ie, very good. Sometimes it is better than my 07 Sedan. Personally, I don't see much difference between them technically except for a better gas pedal feel!!

Seen one on the side of the road for sale here in Sydney.
I don't know much about them but a heap of them pass me on the highway. Are they like lighter than our Yari? with the same engine spec |

Actually they are smaller with the same engine, some changes to the fuel management system. I think my buddy's Echo is faster (less frontal area). If no one in your family is oversized, everyone fits just fine. Lots of Echos here, highly underrated IMHO.

Toyota Echo has been an extremely reliable and economical car. Perfect for grocery shopping, great work commuter and very easy to park. Extra includes eletric sunroof, central locking, alloy wheels, sound system, and 4, yes, you saw it right 4 extra tyres. Some scratch marks at the back and small chip under the bump due to minor incidents.
