If it's Double Din then I'm pretty sure it can. Thought the sizing was industry standard

Yes it can and what's nice with this is that the factory harness plugs directly into the back of it, so it's plug and play.

I googled scion pioneer and came back with a bunch of results for cd player issues as they get older...Is this that pioneer? I know there are two pioneer models for the scions, but no one seems to specify by p/n. Have you had any such issues?

There's a bit more than two. I just got in the T1814 used in the new Scion tC. The T1809 is the one this guy is selling, and there's the T1808 as well. IIRC, there's another premium one, but the T1809 here has the most features. I haven't heard much anything on them failing prematurely or as they get 'old'...mainly because even the oldest HUs are four or five years old.

Nevermind...I did a bit more googling and it seems to be the pioneer 6 disc indash that has all the problems.
