help hiding HU antenna
hey all,
I have a kenwood dnx7140 in my Yaris LB and I don't like how the previous owner had the GPS and XM antennas installed on the roof, I think it looks cheap as hell. I was thinking there has to be some way to mount them inside the car without messing with the reception. I saw that someone with a Rav4 put it in the 3rd brake light hump and still had great reception so I am imagining that it would go under the liner maybe or pull it all up to the dash and tuck it somewhere in there, maybe behind the gauge cluster. Any ideas or opinions? |

I installed my GPS antenna under the flat area behind the speedometer and it works great there. The installation manual for the European OEM navigation system instructs to install it there as well.
