2nzfe 1.3 to a 1.5?
hi all,
is there a way to increase the stroke of the 2nzfe? like switching some internals so instead of the 1.3liter 2nzfe 89 hp, swapping some internals to make it a 1.5 liter 109hp 1nzfe? any suggestions, help, pics, prices, anything is highly appreciated! |

As I understand it, it's just a longer throw in the crank? I'd like to go the other way and make a super-frugal 2NZ out of mine...

With the change is displacement, you would also need to change the ECM or use a piggyback to add or remove fuel, depending on the direction that you go.

are the ECMs different part numbers?
Wouldn't the MAF just read an increase in airflow and compensate anyway. I read an article of a guy with an MR-S swapping in an 1NZ from the 1ZZ and used the 1ZZ ECM and everything works fine. |

The ECMs are different part numbers. With a 15% difference in cylinder volume, I am not sure that the ECM could properly compensate for the air flow difference.

Just get a 1NZ bottom end with the crank and rods, everything else from the 2nz will work
