Rear Axle assembly
hello, new here. I have a 2008 yaris hatchback 5 speed and my second rear axle assembly cracked at the weld, I guess I can not complain the car has over 392,000 miles on it, I was offered 400.00 from a junkyard to come pick it up, or is there value if I repair it and try to sell it after repaired? seems that was a decent price from junkyard, but if they are offering that I wonder what it is really worth.
any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated Last edited by whtlion; 03-07-2024 at 03:21 PM. |

Axle beam will probably run you 600-800 dollars for a used one plus if you need the bushings. With 392000 miles it probably is not worth it. I have get under my 07 and check for the same thing before i decide if i am going to repaint or just surrender and move on.
