Best place to mount tweeters in the LB?

Anyone have pics. of where you've installed your tweeters? In my '07LB, I mounted them here:

This time I'd like to mount them like this:

Not sure if I'd flush mount them there or put them on the angled mounting cups to point them more towards the driver and passenger.

I don't want to install tweeters on those door panels again because I always had noise coming from the tweeters when installed there. I replaced their wires (from the tweeters to the crossovers and from the crossovers to the amp.), changed the gains on my amp., tried ground loop isolators and even replaced the tweeters. Nothing fixed the hiss and noise coming from the tweeters when mounted in those door panels.

Not sure if the tweeters could be mounted on those pillars though (like in the bottom-most pic.) because I think I have side-curtain airbags behind them.

Too bad they don't make these with only one "gauge pod" for the Yaris and also for both driver and passenger side:

Would be prefect for tweeters.

They make universal pods that attach to the A-pillar and have two gauge pods on each. Not sure though how well they'd fit on the Yaris's A-pillar. Also the gauge holes are like 2.5" in diameter. Too big for most tweeters.

Since the Yaris is sold around the world (for Right hand drive countries also), I'm sure you can buy one for a LHD car (US driver's side) and one for a RHD car (US passenger's side) ??? Did that make sense ????

oh, and BTW: I mounted my tweets on the door, which saved a lot of time and hassle. They are right next to the door handle, on the front end of the vehicle. It saved me from having to take off the A-pillar paneling, etc... I think they really look OEM. I will get some pix up soon

They do make one that just snaps over the A-Pillar. It has two gauge pods on each one and it's a universal one so not sure how well it would fit on the Yaris's A-Pillar.

Driver's side:

Passenger's side:

I guess I could make do with these.

The driver's side one would have a tweeter in one pod and one of these in its second pod:

I don't want or need a tach.. A compass would be much more useful to me.

The passenger's side would have the other tweeter and I haven't thought of what I'd put in its second pod yet.
