Unhappy Loud rattle coming from engine/engine area

Hey y’all, I recently picked up a 2009 3dr auto base Yaris. I’ve been having this rattle show up whenever i’m in drive or reverse, only when the car isn’t moving. Tap the gas, it goes away. I’ve picked apart every thread about these rattles, I don’t have ac so it’s nothing to do with that, I checked the shift cable that everyone talked about and it’s not coming from there, it sounds like it’s somewhere in/on the engine, but i can’t pin point it.

I’ll try and attach a video so you can hear the sound, it’s pretty loud and hard to ignore. I’ve resorted to putting the car in neutral at red lights at this point.

I’m hoping for the fastest and cheapest way around this. I’m coming from a 2013 Lincoln mkt which was a panic attack on wheels with 675000 kms, so the goal with this one was less work and stress while i’m in university.

Any help is appreciated!

oh cool, that was easy.

Should I remove it or secure it somehow? Or does it have to be replaced?

You can remove it and drive without it.If there is no way to hold it with fasteners because of corrosion and you insist on using it you can do like I did, keep it tight with stainless steel zip ties. It's been years since I did and no issues so far.Look up online how to tighten steel zip ties with pliers if you decide to go down that route.
