Installing FJ Cruiser OEM CD player on YARIS?

Hi, What about installing the OEM CD PLAYER from a FJ Cruizer?. It has a 6cd Changer, and It look really nice.
What do you think about it?, It will fit (I believe it's Double Din), and also It's Toyota Harness 100% compatible.

Your comments here please!

Any better choice?

I wouldn't pay $170 for that. For $170, there's definitely better aftermarket ones out there.

Id get an Alpine off eBay for that much, before spending it on a stock unit.

Yes. There're better units, but they quit originality to my dash pannel.
And remember it has a buit in 6-cd changer and also it's mp3/wma compatible.

Mine came with this unit in it. I said I wouldn't pay for it, so they gave it to me for free, not too happy with it. It's supposed to have a input jack but still haven't seen it. Also not sure but think maybe the speakers are weak. I heard you can change the colors of it but they didn't give me a manual with it, so if anyone knows how to change the colors let me know. I'm going to stick with it because of the freeness of it, but if you don't have to have it I would look elsewhere.

The FJammer does put out a bit more power than the stock one, but the factory speakers are still crap so it won't make that big of a diffrence. Good if you have some upgraded speakers, but said for the price you can get a good aftermarket head unit for the price.. but it does look good and factory. I have both cars, and have been thinking of swaping it into the Yaris.

To change the colors:
Turn on car.

You turn the FJammer unit off
Press and hold the text button until the display lights up.
Then, you turn the unit on and push in the bass/treble/fade
nob and then turn it to change the colors.

To change the display start up text:

turn off your fjammer then hold the text button down until the text screen promt appears. release the text button and turn your fjammer back on. the aux screen will be displayed. you should then push and release the text button.
you can now enter text using the audio control button. when youve typed in your stuff press and hold the 1 button. turn off your vehical with the key, then turn it back on. your message should be displayed prior to the fjammer text.

I don't know... 6 disc changer built in, WMA/MP3 support, AUX port, changable colors, OEM styling... $170? Sounds pretty alright to me.

And yes, the stock speakers are weak.

That FJ Cruiser stereo/6-CD changer with better speakers, an amp, and a compact subwoofer would sound pretty decent, I would bet.

I'm with CC this seems pretty decent for the price. Not my first choice but...decent none the less.

yeah somehow is stilll like the factory look better, $170 dollars is not bad, i will go for it if my stock is fuck up, beside you can change the colors tooo.

I got sedan, everything is original stock, plus 12inch aftermarket Subwoofer + Amp,
turn the bass off in my stock speakers, it's sound pretty sweet, i really don't need too change stock speakers until it broken
