looking for cheap, light, white wheels

I'm shopping around for some white wheels around the $100 range to replace the stock steelies. I'd like to get something lighter than the stock wheels, in white, not too garish, and that will fit 185/60-15. I can paint them white if need be, but I'd prefer to have them come that way.

So far I've found Drag DR-9's to be my best choice. It's the closest thing I've found to the stock 185/60-15 measurements, its quite light and cheap.

If you have better suggestions, let me know. I'm completely new to the wheel game.

Try http://jlbmotorsports.com They have an awesome selection and are located out in Corona. They carry Konig Heliums in white, which are around $100 a wheel and are super lightweight. Tell them Marlondog sent you!

Been reading up on these, and it appears they are flimsy and prone to breaking. I know the Yaris is quite light, but I drive on very rutted roads and take sharp turns at speed often and am concerned they may not hold up well. Have any experience with these in particular?

These look great, but I'm unable to find data on weight. Do you know?

ChinoCharles has ran Heliums for years on our rough Ohio roads with no problems. They are a replica wheel, which tend to get hated on. If you look up Rota's people will say they break easy as well, for the same reason.

Konig is a good, reputable brand. I'd personally ignore the haters trying to say they break easy. All my opinion of course.

I'm very happy with my new wheels, the ubiquitous Regamaster Evo knockoffs aka Rota Slipstreams... they look quite good in white too! Not 100% sure of the actual weight though...

Yep; they're Maxxims, which are part of Konig.

FYI I've had my orange Maxxim Assaults (via JLB Motorsports) for about two years w/o problems.

Cool, thanks for all the tips everyone, I've got my choices down to a few now.

Another question. I'm trying to keep the new wheels as close to the stock steelies in terms of size as I've gotten used to the handling characteristics. I believe the steelies are 15x6.5 ET35. What difference would 15x6 or 15x7 make, as well as ET38 - ET45, in terms of handling, economy, etc?

FYI, the Assaults are 15x6.5, +40. I run a 195/55/15 tire and there is nearly zero rubbing (unless I hit a big dip while turning right; really only happens on one on ramp by me).

Cool, I'm sure I'll be fine with a 185/60/15 then.

Well, I ended up getting Maxxim Airs. I was unable to get any Konig Heliums as JLB Motor Sports doesn't have them in 15x6.5 anymore and they weren't getting anymore Maxxim Assaults in white. Thanks to everyone who helped, and recommended JLB, they're awesome. Pics when I get them installed.
