oem-style body kit
hey guys,
So I've been looking for an oem-style body kit for my '10 yaris sedan and I'm having a lot of bad luck. Evidently, the s model is not offered in my region and thus neither are any of the body kit parts. I talked with a parts guy from my closest dealership, and he said something about toyota working with trd to come out with an oem style body kit similar to the vios gt and trd sportivo that are sold in other countries. These kits are selling for 200-400 usd in malaysia, thailand, and the phillipines, so why aren't they being sold over here in the states? I'd do anything to get a kit like that for that price. Does anyone know of a way I could, or at least know more information regarding toyota's and trd's collaboration? |

TRD mean's Toyota Racind Development So they are not collaborating only for body kit they only work for toyota and make every racing piece specific to Toyota model and body kit from malaysia, thailand and whatever other country around there will cost almost as much to ship !!

The kits that are being sold overseas are not actual Toyota certified parts for that price. They are knockoffs and will require possibly a great deal of work to fit as well as be finished to OEM standards. Just a heads up. If you are looking for a body kit and have the cash up front to prove you are serious then you can contact the guys over at MI and see about having one ordered/shipped in one of their container shipments. As for why they don't sell over here, well that is an easy one...the Yaris has never been considered a performance machine in the US/Canada so getting someone to readily stock those types of parts is difficult. The shops will have the parts and could literally sit on them for years before people purchase.

Yeah, makes sense. Looks like I'll be waiting for someone to part with theirs and sell it on here :(

Sedan s kit
I just got my 2007 yaris sedan in black. I am looking for the lip kit, 4 piece, that comes on the S model. Please let me know if anyone is selling one!!!!!

go to clifford-bodykits.com, philippine based website there is a lot of bodykits for yaris there. thats where we order here in the middle east, as far i i've knew we have ordered more than 5 bodykits and still counting.
