Probably to look more like the newer Corollas. I dunno why they did that though, being that they're both unique & different cars. I like the look of the older grille too. Should've kept them that way IMO.

They just had to change something to make it look "new and different." The grilles are swappable. Somebody on the board has done it, both ways. Believe it or not, some prefer the new style grille with the little squares in it to the old louvered style.

I used to have a 2007 Black Sedan with a 5 Speed MT. I owned that car for 3 years and up until it was totaled at 70mph i hated the LB. I used to think it was ugly and too small. 2 weeks after my accident I found a 2009 Blue LB and now i would never go back. a few visual mods and a stereo install and its way better looking than the sedan ever was.

As a sedan owner, I'd be curious how the breakdown shakes out too. Might give some insight into what style tends to attract more enthusiasts.
