Is there a thread about.....

Is there a thread where people have listed the actual web site/link where they found thier tires or rims?

For instance

hey i got these rims from www.thisisatest.com

Check out the pics.

A thread like that would be so nice.
I'm sure others have the sites, but to go thru so many pages takes time.
heck i do have to sleep at work some time.

And please dont include clowns like NTB.com
That change everything when you try to view the rims you like.
Plus seeing 5 lugs, well its a no brainer.

I'd love to contribute but I'm still shopping for rims. :P

Seems like a lot of people get them used from craigslist, so the only people who will contribute are those who buy new. I might wind up having to buy new and I'm mostly looking at discounttiredirect.com

That's the best I can do, I'll drop by with a link when I buy something.

Akron/Canton ohio craigslist is to small of a market.
Plus what are they clicking on in craigslist, there are lots of categories.

Plus i could care less if mine are new or used.
I appreciate your input, i'm gonna bite the bullet and just get a set from toyota. heck even the vendore on here didnt notice a sale.
Sorta sad.

But thank you, i do have a feeling craigslist will be hit or miss.

I got my TRD 18's with tires and wheel locks at the dealership I bought my car from. I had been looking at them for a while but I didn't have the cash for them. I know the guy that sold me my car and he told me he could get them with his discount for $1100. I went in for my 25000 mi service and they were sitting in the service area. I asked the person behind the counter and he had no idea what they were worth. He left to find out and when he came back he asked how much I wanted to pay for them. I sat and thought about it thinking that if I said $500 he would come back with $800 - $1000. When I said $500 he said sold! I damn near shit myself. They even installed them for me. About a week later I was talking to my friend that works there and he was telling me that the person that sold them to me got a lot of shit because the dealership lost $600. I feel like I got the deal of a lifetime right there.

Best place to start: discounttiredirect.com

They have a good selection, great prices, fantastic special offers, fast/free shipping, and excellent customer service.
