FS: Gauge Cluster from '09 LB- $150

I'm selling the OEM gauge cluster from my '09 Yaris LB

***DROPPED PRICE TO $100***

The cluster is in perfect condition, both cosmetically and functionally. No scratched face, missing bulbs, etc

I swapped it for the "S" cluster with the tach, which is the reason for the sale. This one was only used for about 5 months, so it's like-new.

The cluster shows 4,063 miles on it, but supposedly can be reprogrammed by a dealer to your car's correct mileage

PS- I'm not sure what (if any) years or body styles this cluster fits, hopefully someone here can clue me in

I completely understand your point and I just checked out eBay myself. The prices seem to vary greatly from $50-150, depending on condition, year, options, etc. However, there are no 2009 clusters on eBay from what I saw, only 06-08.

The 2009 cluster is slightly different from the 06-08 in that it has the ABS indicator and orange backlight, both of which I believe are unique to the '09. If I'm wrong, someone please let me know.

Also, I paid $225 for the 2009 "S" cluster used from a junkyard, so I'm hoping $150 for this one isn't too crazy.

Still looking myself- Mike you were one lucky guy! May I ask if your cluster has the ABS light Mike? That seems to be a big obstacle for me- my 2009 came with abs and I just can't see getting a cluster without that warning light (I'd compromise on the kph if I find a Canadian one) but maybe that means I'll never find one :-( .

Yes, my OEM one and the "S" one both have ABS lights

I think I got the last one on Earth. I seriously only called about 4-5 junkyards and snagged one in about 15-20 minutes, but there don't seem to be many out there. I guess not too many people are crashing '09 "S"s.

Sorry to hijack this thread but for anyone who wants a fully digital dash with a digital tach there's one going on eBay for $195 Australian Dollars, roughly $167 US Dollars.

Looks like this

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/toyota-yaris-...d=p3286.c0.m14

This is standard on all HB/LB here.

Thanks for the teaser Maddog- do you know if ABS comes standard in OZ? (no mention of the abs light in listing).

Unfortunately the Kph is a deal breaker for me (not to mention the cost of shipping)- at least the Canadian clusters have mph under the Kph.

P.S. I'd like to request that all S model Yaris hatchabck owners to crash their cars as soon as possible!

:-)

P.S.S. If Toyota just charged a reasonable amount for the darn S cluster from the parts department (my local dealer wants 520$ !!!!!!) none of this would be a problem.

P.S.S.S. - it looks like all the 2010s with stick will have a tach (and ABS is standard) - so much more likelihood of getting a cluster in the future I think/hope.

1. ABS is standard on Yaris and nearly all cars here in Australia and their is a ABS light on the dash that lights up when you start the car.

2. There is a switch on the back to change between Km/h and Mp/h

Hmmm. Getting very tempted. It would be very handy to have an 09 one on the bench for my development projects as well as the 08 one.
