SCION/Bazooka Powered Sub w/ harness and mounts!

$150 shipped (lower 48)

This is the made-for-xB Bazooka powered sub sold by Toyota/Scion for over $250. It fits PERFECTLY in a Yaris LB without taking up a ton of space, and can be mounted easily into the factory tire-well cover, which makes it a snap to remove it (just unplug and take-out the whole floor peice, or unscrew the wing nuts holding it to the bracket). It has excellent sound, its own level-control and crossover points, and plugs directly into ANY OEM Toyota/Scion head unit!! This comes with instructions, full wiring harness (takes about 10 minutes to unsnap a few trim pieces and run the plenty-long harness from the stereo to the tire well). The hardest part is attaching the grounding wire (I just used the back rear seat bolt). Looks like it came with the car when its installed, and you can still lift the rear deck by just folding-down the rear seat.

"Working with Toyota engineers BAZOOKA, once again, has developed a Vehicle Specific Subwoofer for the latest model of the SCION XB. Like its predecessor subwoofer for the SCION TC, this compact sub is designed to tuck away into the back corner of the car and deliver outstanding performance. And, using a factory interface harness, power, signal, and remote turn on can be connected to the sub without cutting or splicing a single wire.
The subwoofer features an 8" high excursion woofer and 100W amplifier to delivery the deep lows for which BAZOOKA is known. Molded to fit snuggly into the contours of the rear right panel of the car, this VSE delivers all of the low bass missing from the factory stereo without taking up any useable cargo area. (Model: VSE-SCI-145L-07)"

Wiring

@ozmdd, a quick question. I installed the stock harness in my 06 xA today and didn't get any sound from my bazooka.

Do I have to plug the "remote power" cables in anywhere or add a fuse?

Thanks.

Yes you need to plug in the remote power. Its a wire from your headunit that tells when the sub should be off. If there is no signal, your sub wont turn on.

That's what I don't get. The stock harness plugs in perfectly, but there are 2 "remote" wire that piggy-back out of the back of it and I don't see anywhere for them to plug in. Am I missing something big here??

This might help. Here's the installation guide for it:
