I'm looking into this since they have to charge CA State sales tax to local customers the price is pretty much the same, but I'll confirm and PM you.

We need to get a minimum of 15 people for this reduced pricing and to help speed up the production. They would still make the bar if we don't get enough people, but the purpose of this pre-order is to prove to Progress that there is interest in this product as well as help them justify speeding up production. So far, no other company has shown interest or even mentioned offering a rear sway bar for the Yaris. Progress have already completed the development of this product and just need to put it into production.

Does anyone know what our front sway bar options are?
I ordered a C-One front sway bar from Bulletproof, it should be here in Feb. The stock front swaybar is actually pretty good already, but I'd like to try out the bigger one to compare. Cusco also offer a stiffer front sway bar. I wouldn't touch the stock front sway bar unless you already have a rear bar, upgrading the front without adding a rear first is a sure fire recipe for unmanageable understeer.

I don't have any pics of the actual Yaris sway bar that will go into production. It is very similar to the sway bars on other cars such as the Corolla and Scion, you can view these on the Progress website here:

www.progressauto.com

Here's a link to a pic of one of their other sway bar kits (Yaris will only have the one rear bar):

yeah i have a question, you say it bolts to the stock spring cups? is that the top of the springs, inside the trunk/hatch or outside the car underneath??? I don't want anything taking up my trunk space.

The bar bolts underneath the vehicle to the rear trailing arm to reduce twist in the arm. It won't take up any room inside the car.

This is honestly going to be one of the simplest installs on this car, it shouldn't take more than 20 min. and simple hand tools. You probably won't even have to remove the wheels. Here is a picture of the bar on the Scion Xb/Xa:

Keep in mind that the Scion had a sway bar built into the stock trailing arm also, which we don't even have. This is going to make a big improvement on our cars!

Punch, thanks for the PM! I added you to the list

woof is seriously, seriously interested. Right now, you're saying $140 delivered, right? Well, will it come with photographic instructions?
