I got the automatic. I didn't realize that the seat height could be adjusted. I think I will leave it as it is, I'll get used to it pretty fast. It does seem larger on the inside, maybe it's really a TARDIS.

I do wish I had the owner's manual though.

there should be an arm rest with a cup holder in your sedan for rear passengers as well .

Hello all,

Just considering the purchase of a Yaris... Well, my mind is pretty much made up. I rented one for a long week-end a couple of years ago, and was thoroughly charmed (and couldn't believe the gas mileage!).

Still dithering though about the various options. Will probably post the odd question over the coming days...

Cheers all!

Wahoo! I'm a proud new owner of a 2010 3Dr LB, 5 speed, Meteorite Metalic. I've been thinking about moving from my Neon to a Yaris for some time now and pulled the trigger today. This is a fun car! It's amazing how roomy it is inside for how small it is outside. I commute 90 mi. round trip / day and I'm looking forward to the improved mileage after breaking it in.

BTW, noticed you hail from Savannah. I visit family in HH each summer and always spend some time in Savannah because I love that town.

There are some nice parts of Savannah. I enjoy it!

Yeah just remember to slide the seats all the way forward and the spare tire lid folds out 2 ways

Hello all,

I've just purchased a 2007 Yaris and I'm new to the forum :)

Anyone else on here from the UK? By the looks of things the majority of you are from the U.S.A lol, so I won't hold my breath haha

Hi, all! Bought a used Yaris last September and it's getting on maintenance time, so I thought I'd look for some info on these forums. What a friendly place!

Hi, I had my Yaris about two weeks now, really enjoying it. I have been driving Tacomas for about 12 years. Setting on the ground now.

Here are my recommendations:
All-Weather Guard Package -- includes larger window washer tank with low-level warning lamp, heavy-duty heater, heavy-duty starter and rear heater duct
Convenience Package -- AM/FM CD player with MP3/WMA playback capability, auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio capability [1] and CD text display function, 60/40 split fold-down rear seat (Liftback adds sliding/reclining feature) and 15-in. steel wheels with full wheel covers (Liftback adds rear window wiper)
Power Package -- includes Convenience Package plus power door locks and power windows with driver's auto-down, power outside mirrors, engine immobilizer [2] and remote keyless entry system (Sedan adds integrated audio face plate)

You can add the sport package too and they you will have all there is and still pay less than for any other car with similar options... not to mention unbelievable gas mileage.

Nick I am also new to YarisWorld. Compared to some others, I am relatively near to you - just outside Glasgow, west coast of Scotland.

I have lurked for a few weeks - seems a friendly place.
