How to adjust the angle HID

I just installed an aftermarket HID kit, but the beam is aiming too high, please if anyone know there's anything I can do the aim the beam lower?

You'll find white nylon adjusters behind the headlamp housing, just to the inside of the bulb on each side. Use a phillips head screwdriver.

You might want to count how many quarter turns from factory you go and record that somewhere so you can go back to factory settings in the future.

i don't know if pointing them down will help. the beam pattern sucks with these housings. i still get a lot of glare with them pointed all the way down to the point where it is almost unsafe to drive at high speeds on the freeway. i'm thinking about removing mine. good luck!

I implore everyone to not install HID retrofits without using a projector housing. It is dangerous and annoying to other drivers in front of you.

I agree, but you're fighting a losing battle.

LOL I know it. It can't hurt to spread the word though.

Absolutely. HID in reflector housings blind other drivers, and are unsafe.

That said, I've seen some pretty good results from aftermarket HIDs in OEM projector housings (where the OEM uses the same projector housing for their Halogens and HIDs).
