ITB's, have they been done on a 1nz?

I was just thinking about it, cause with the right tuning the engine could get 130-150 depending on if you want to change pistons. I know it would need a stand-alone or a pretty good piggy-back. And how would the drive by wire work? I ask cause Im actually considering this.

Damn that's going to be a real b*tch to wire up properly with DBW :(

I don't see why it would be, just hack the throttle motor assembly so it pulls on the ITB throttle cable like an RC car servo...

Then again if you're doing this you're gonna need some good engine management, so you could go Garm-style and just ditch the DBW at the same time...

yeah if youre going to do it you might as well get a standalone and go to a throttle cable system and then just rig it up old school style

i think if you used GSX-R or Hayabusa throttle bodies with an adapter, it would be do-able. i would LOVE to see this happen. Then sell an ECU reflash along with it and we'd be ready to rock.
