08 arm rest?

I have noticed in a couple of pics that some yaris have arm rest? Mine is an automatic, so you have e brake issue I would think? Can you purchase a NICE arm rest.
I'm trying to start my mod list, doing one at the time, so many more questions coming

Micro Image sells a nice aftermarket one for the liftback. I have the OEM one in one of my Yaris, and I find that I always leave it in the flipped up position, since with how close I sit to the steering wheel, I can't reach it.

Nice is a relative thing when it comes to the yaris armrest.

I bought an OEM armrest some time ago for like $40 from ebay (you may want to keep an eye out there) and it is a little less than sturdy but it does the job. it is actually above the hand brake.

this is what mine looks like though the prices have obviously gone up.

I would like to remove it, but my wife won't let me since it works for her with the position that she keeps the passenger seat in.

the oem armrest is crap. After 4 years mine turned some horrid orange tinted greyish almost not quite black amazingly horrendous color. If I knew how easy it was to take off when i bought it, I would have demanded they take it off. Or done it myself and beaten my salesman to a bloody pulp with it.

Now the one MI sells looks rather nice.

I bought this armrest for my 07 Yaris and have no complaints! For years I wished it came with one similar to my Camry, but I thought the OEM was ugly. It has sufficient amount of space for my needs. I think some may not like the fact that the Ebrake is directly below it, but it doesn't bother me any.

A post you did long ago on this subject had me ROTFLMFAO and left me thinking that you removed it right after you got your Yaris (as I did with mine).

I agree. The link posted does work, but the pics on the MI site don't show the inside. Do you know if it is one hollow compartment? Or some other configuration?

I have no idea. I know a few or more have purchased them, so one of them or Garm could chime in with the answers.

Can't remember where I saw it, but I did see a dual cup holder. I'd like to get one if I could.
