2007 Yaris hb rim suggestion

Hello everyone.I just got a 2007 hatchback. This thing is in awesome shape with zero rust and very mechanically sound(Original paint 150.000K 5 speed).I live In Barrie ontario Canada and was hoping someone could suggest a good online place to get some larger black rims. What would you recommend for rim size aswell.

This is not really a performance upgrade as much as it is for looks. This is a red car so I will be getting the windows tinted and with black rims it should look really nice. Thanks for any and all suggestions/recomendations.

Here is what I was looking at.this is convenient and exaxtly the color and style I wanted(17x7)

I believe a lot of people go to tirerack.com to get a different set of wheels. I personally think that for wheel size sticking to a light 15" wheel would be best, 16" if you really wanted to go up in size for the heck of it. Imho a 17" wheel is bigger than needed without a nice drop to go along with. I would suggest that you take a look at the Konig Dial-ins or Advanti Storm S1s.

My choice of wheels was also strictly based on looks.

I went with 17" wheels, 205/40/17 tires.

Like alias said above, it looks significantly better when lowered.

Rim size

Thanks for the reply. No sense really getting 15 as its doesnt make the car look any better then the stock rims. Those are also american and will cost way more once exchange and shipping(Canada here)

So going 17'' is out of the question without lowering? I looked at some pics of 15'' rims and it doesnt look much different then stock rims(lots of rubber sidewall)Found a thread on lowering.I will research a bit more but these look like a good option to keep the stock oem shocks/struts

I say for performance stick with 15 or 16 anything larger makes Yaris feel like a dog unless you spent lots of cash on very light wheels , I personally find that 195 55 15 work best, and one can find lots of wheels plus tires are way cheaper.

I would also look on Kijiji for good deals or wheel shops, keep in mind hub bore should be 54.1 , offset 35 to 45 ( stock is 45)

Sadly, American businesses are about the only choice we have for serious wheel shopping. Check out discounttiredirect.com as they about the best option for us Canucks. Better than tirerack.

I've not paid attention to what CTC has to offer, but my fear would be anything from them would be heavy as hell.

16 inch is a good choice. That really is the sweat spot when it comes to marrying form and function.

Look up 1010tires.com. They are Canadian. I haven't purchased from them so I can't give you a review, but they have a much bigger selection than Canadian Tire. There's also Kaltire.com and gobigo.ca where you can preview the wheels on your car.
