I collect silver souvenir spoons. I have over 700. I started five years ago after going to flea markets and antique fairs on Sundays. I work on Sundays now, so I haven't added to the collection in the last year.

Before the wide spread use of the camera, people bought post cards and souvenirs when they traveled. One of the most popular was the silver souvenir spoon. Your grandparents probably have some.

I also collect Persian and Peruvian silver.

Toy airplanes; been doing it for 60+ years now, in every phase. Into for a long time, too expensive; designing and building stuff from wood, won't bother to re-post my wood roadster, but furniture and boats are part of it; good beer is a passion; and books, mostly on cars, aircraft. One can get buried in a good hobby, but I am convinced that my hobbies have lengthened my life considerably...
