My Yaris has 15 miles on it.

YAY, new Yaris as of last night. I have the 3 door liftback, red, manual. After 10 years of driving minivans...

SO HAPPY TO BE HERE.

Getting ready to pack the kids up and go out to breakfast and then let the dealership finish with the detailing (it got late last night). Y'all have a good day, hear?

Congrats from a fellow red liftbacker.

Don't let the exterior size fool you, the liftback can carry amazing cargo with the seats folded down. It could rival some vans out there in this fact.

Start modding it out...the minivans will become a distant memory soon.

Thanks, I'm beyond excited. I look forward to trolling around here looking at mods and oohing and ahhing at stuff I can't really afford.

I am totally amazed at the amount of interior room. I fit three male children ages 5-12 comfortably. Hoping that when they're 10-17 the same holds true.

Welcome!

When the teen years arrived...thats when we had the minivan. Mine (girls) would have killed each other if they had to be within arms reach.

Of course with th LB they may be tight enough they can't get a good swing in!

Hahah! So far, so good - a morning of errand running with no punches thrown. And darting in and out of traffic! And ... accelerating without a big giant engine slurping gas while being sluggish... and...

Life's good. Thanks for the warm welcome all.

Hah. I feel your joy: we got our white sedan yesterday, and my wife has been reading the Moaners Annual ever since. The car is in her name, which is fine with me, she's the one with the checkbook!

Very complicated car for what should be quite simple...

It's here

... and she loves it. I drove it today and have some little niggles about it, like the throttle is vague, and the warning systems are too strident for my liking; at times I called the computer HAL ("turn the pod, HAL"...). But it ain't my car, it's up to her to decide what's good or bad!
