does yours have this part number on the back?

Mine might be aftermarket. I don’t remember if the number on the back says Toyota. What I’m wondering is does yours look the same, or do I need to trim mine along the bend (marked in red).

you are missingthe rubber molding it looks like, the factory has that rubber molding around it maybe that fills in the gap

Oh... I wonder if I can buy that separately? Would you mind testing yours out without the rubber and see how it looks?

I'm thinking the issue here is trying to use a JDM grill insert on a USDM bumper cover. JDM bumper cover is shorter which means it does not have the same curvatures as the USDM.

remcafee, would you mind testing this theory on your USDM bumper?

flex aditive is fun isnt it..and it screws with the mix of the paint thus throwing off your gun adjustments

exactly, its hard to match with the rest of the car paint, i went ahead and added a little slight more yellow tint to my mix and its as close as its gonna get, i respect all painters, its very hard to do, especially if you want a good finish
