Auto tranny: Noisy/Clicky Shifter

So, I bought my 2010 with 48K on the clock. And I've noticed when maneuvering in/out of a parking space that the shifter makes a cheap-plastic-toy sound when moving from Reverse to D, D to Reverse, etc. Not all the time - intermittently. Right at the base of the shifter.

I've not shot any WD40 in there, yet. Just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this.

Thanks a lot!
Chuck

Mine is a 2007 with auto. No clicking. Before I sprayed anything I would remove the tunnel cover and see if anything has managed to worm its way in there to cause the noise.
