FS: 2010 Yaris 5 speed. 40-48 MPG's! CLEAN!! 31K Miles!

Here's TOTAL economy, for a GREAT price! I am the second owner of this car. I bought it from a Toyota dealer and the car is Toyota CERTIFIED. The previous owner had regularly brought it in to the Toyota dealer for maintenance and oil changes. When I drove it home, it had 19,000 miles on it, and the other 11,000 miles came from 100% highway driving. I've done all the maintenance to the car myself since I've had it. I've rotated the tires a couple times and changed the oil every 5,000 miles with fully synthetic Pennzoil Ultra. I never used crappy filters either, always went with Toyota OEM.

This car needs NOTHING! I've very particular with vehicles and I've babied it and taken care of it. I regularly hand wash it with Meguiars Ultimate wash and have hand waxed it twice since owning it. I've always used rubber floor mats with the car as well, so no heel rubbing through the carpet. This car is a NON SMOKER! I've always used a sheet over the drivers side door to reduce the chance of shearing on the seat, which there is non. The car is small, which is GREAT for parking, but there is PLENTY of space inside for cargo or passengers. I am 6' and there is PLENTY of leg room and head room left. The rear is VERY roomy as well, you can easily fit a 6'+ person in the back. The back seats can fold down and create a large cargo space in the rear. There are no burns, rips, stains, etc. with the interior. This model wasn't equipped with power windows or locks, which I like, there are no motors to burn out.

The gas mileage is AMAZING in this car. Since it's a 5 speed, you can really squeeze out as much MPG's as possible. The transmission feels very good and tight, just as it should for having only 30,000 miles on it. Here's a list of my MPG on every fill up since I've owned it:

The car feels great on the highway and doesn't sway around at all. I've had ZERO problems with this car and it's actually been rated as one of the most reliable cars in the world. It has a very basic 1.5 L engine that is VERY easy to work on.

$11,200 takes it home!

I can't really think of anything else to say about it at the moment, so if you think of something, just ask. You can give Joe (me) a call at ANY TIME at Two.1.Nine.5.Ten.2.8.8.Eight. If I don't answer, please leave me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks!!

Charley... I'd snap up that deal in a freaking heartbeat if I already didn't have one. You're exactly the kind of owner I'd buy a used car from, because you take really good care of your car and drive it gently just like I do. Whoever buys it will be lucky to get a Yaris in such pristine condition!

I already have a Yaris .. but you car looks amazing and your mileage is better than I am getting. I'm sure that your car will be sold soon .. as it would be a good car for anyone wanting a reliable Yaris.

The highest bid was $7,600. Oh well. I might end up just keeping it.

Somehow, showing photos of a Yaris for sale on a Yaris website is like showing off your zebra in with a flock of other zebras!

They all look the same!

Hey Gnarley,

That's the problem here... everyone already has one. I didn't post here until I already had a 2012. Have you tried Craigslist or the Recycler?

I still can't believe that it hasn't been snatched up because of its well cared for condition. That is a true rarity in a used car.

"drive it gently" . I'm too cheap to be as serious as SOME members are re preventative maintenance, but I hope my like minded 'drive it gently' philosophy will continue to pay a 'trouble free miles' dividend.

No power pkg though. That might explain the low eBay bids....

Alrighty guys! MEGA Bump!

I was going to keep the Yaris and then sell my truck, but I've decided to go the other way around.

This car will truly make an AMAZING car for someone! It has NEVER given me an issue. I'm very meticulous about my vehicles and how I maintain them. I'm the guy who parks WAY FAR AWAY so that I don't get a door or shopping cart slammed into me. I'm always watching for pot holes and road debris, making an effort to keep the car as perfect as I can. When I jack it up, I even put a block of wood between the jack and the pinch seam so I don't wear the paint down.

I've driven the car a bit more since the first post, so it has about 35,000 miles on it now. If you do have to drive somewhat of a distance for the car, I'm near a bunch of major highways, so I'm easy to get to.

I am the second owner of this car and it is currently Toyota Certified. Even on winter gas and it being pretty cold up here, I've been averaging about 38-40 MPG's.

$11,000 takes it home guys! Thanks!

Here is an updated picture of the car. I frequently take it to the car wash and HAND WASH it in a bay, NOT WITH A THEIR BRUSH. (this equals freezing hands)

Someone pick up an awesome car! KNOW what you're getting and don't just pray that it has been taken care of. I really need to sell this car... I could go down to $10,800.

Thanks guys!!
