On Grid Charity Community Event @ Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA

Hey California gang!

On Sept. 1st and 2nd, On Grid will be hosting their first annual On Grid for Charity community event at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. Proceeds from the event will benefit Reach Out World Wide, which was founded by Paul Walker and is focused on bringing rapid disaster relief to those affected by natural disasters.

In addition to the track day action, there will be a car show, live music, interactive entertainment and vendors; so it should be a fun weekend of automotive shenanigans. My sponsor, Wheelwell, will have a booth at the event. I'll be in the booth with my Yaris for one of the two days and our fellow Yaris World member and my Team Wheelwell buddy, Runethecursed, will be holding the booth down on the other day. We'll have Wheelwell decals to give away and would enjoy seeing any of our Yaris World brethren at the event.

The first annual On Grid for Charity event was a lot less attended than I expected, but that allowed us more enjoyment of the day's racing than if we'd been slammed in the booth the entire time. Below are a few videos I took and a couple pics.

I was strategic in positioning my car in the booth as to draw the least amount of attention to the damage I picked up recently. She goes into the body shop tomorrow morning, so keep your fingers crossed that they do a good job for me!
