Recommended tire air pressure for 17"?

Guys, help me out here please... What's the recommended pressure for my 17 inch tires?

Without even knowing his driving style.....

For normal, daily driving, start at 35 psi. Adjust from there. That way, you have a contact patch wider than 2" and you don't lose control if you have to make an evasive maneuver at highway speed.

Thanks guys! So 35 would be a good setting? I drive like an 80 year old lady by the way.

For performance driving you look at the wear off the side of the tread. There is a line that goes around the top of the sidewall the circumference of the tire. If you are driving hard through corners, when your wear gets to this point your tires are at the correct inflation. So adjust accordingly.

If you want more fuel economy, I would shoot for 38 psi, but the ride will suffer a little bit compared to 35 PSI. There is no magic number though.
