Rear Hatch Spoiler for 2009?...

Is there any difference between the spoiler from the 2008 and the 2009? I want to order one pre-painted online but need to confirm that the 08' and 09' spoilers are the same. Thanks!

Chupacabra, if your Yaris does not have any spoiler at all, you can mount either one without any problems.

Our 08 Yaris RS 4-door LB (Canada) came with the rear lip spoiler. I wanted the TRD Rallye spoiler (wing) and found out that there were holes drilled on the hatch right above the rear window glass while mounting the replacement TRD Rallye spoiler.

I just covered the holes using flat black 3-M tape to simulate vent holes. Check out the photo below.

Anyone have further information on the new 2009 Toyota Yaris RS Spoiler? I really would like to replace my 2006 Toyota Yaris RS Spoiler with something that has more definition.

The 07 JDM RS Spoiler was that big one with the tips at the ends, and the new 09 JDM RS has a slim lip type spoiler.

I ordered the simple lip spoiler the other day...same that the 08's were equipped with. I'll try to get it on this weekend at some point (weather permitting). Thanks guys.
