NEW UPDATE ON PAGE1: NST Crank Pulley (NonStopTuning) GROUP BUY
Hi everyone,
First off, my name is Mike. President of NST, www.NonStopTuning.com. I have had a few disscussions with some of your members here: RiceBoy, ChinoCharles, and YarisBueller over the past couple weeks and I'm pretty excited about the possibility of providing you guys with some new goodies in the near future. This Group Buy will offer the YW community a special run of our CR-Lite series. Our CR-Lite Crank Pulleys are lightweight versions of OEM crank pulleys and are usually 60 to 70% lighter than the OEM pulleys they replace. You guys will have a choice of three colors: Red, Blue, Graphite Gray. The results of such a modification are a noticeable improvement in throttle response, an upward shift in horsepower and torque curves accross the entire RPM band, better gas mileage, and more BLING! This will be a special run of NST pulleys and will require roughly 14 people within the next 14 days. Each Yaris CR-Lite Pulley will cost $110 SHIPPED anywhere in the USA or Canada and will ship via USPS services. Payments can be made using the services of PayPal, Debit, or Credit cards; we will have detailed instructions for you about this as we come closer to the close of this GB. (Jan 14, 2007) We will begin the production process on this GB as soon as the closing date has arrived and will have some sweet pulleys to ship out to you guys in late February or early March. Exact ETAs will come when we reach the closing date. Once again, it is a pleasure to join your community and I hope we can bring you some great products in the new year. You guys are welcome to browse our site, send us Email, or look for us on AIM at the screen name NSTonAIM should you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from any of you. UPDATE, Tuesday Jan 9 2007: Ok everyone, it looks like we have hit 15 people. Please visit the following page to submit your payment and get on board... http://www.nonstoptuning.com/pKitToyYarisGB.htm This page will be available from Tuesday Jan. 9, 2007 - Monday Jan. 22, 2007 in order to provide everyone with sufficient time to pay and complete your commitment to this Group Buy. Work will begin on these pulleys once all payments have been received and processed, and pulleys will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail as soon as possible. Please do not wait until the last minute to pay. The sooner the funds are in, the sooner we can begin the building process. We will continue to allow YW members to join this GB in order to honor our original commitment of Jan 14 as our GB closing date. We will place a PAID tag next to each name as payments are completed: 1. YamilR 2. YarisGuy PAID 3. ChinoCharles PAID 4. Galavoxx PAID 5. riceboy PAID 6. spkrman PAID 7. Why, why right after Christmas?
I'm going to go stand on my street corner now. |

According to the pic, this pulley is undampened. Should someone expect increased engine vibration after installing this?

I'm in, but we are far from where we need to be to convince them to build pulleys for the Yaris. Come on guys, this is the best bang for your buck you'll see in tuning!

Hey Everybody,
Sorry for the MIA, but I've been away for the holidays... 1. YamilR 2. YarisGuy 3. ChinoCharles 4. Galavoxx 5. riceboy 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. PS: Gains and dyno results can vary on different cars based on several factors. Supporting mods, weather, humidity, sea level, etc. But most sport compacts that have been tested show gains of about 6-10hp and torque increases with an NST pulley kit. Based on those experiences we can probably expect gains of about 5-6 HP and TQ on our 1NZ motor. Pulley kits provide very good throttle response, and they provide good power gains accross the entire RPM band. Usually an intake, exhaust, or header will only provide gains in one area, maybe the lower, or the upper power band, or maybe just at peak power points. Pulleys shift the entire power curve UP. Meaning the gains are always there. This is in part due to the great weight reduction in the rotating assembly. Here are a couple of results from NSTs newest kit for the Acura TSX. The Blue lines are the OEM curves, while the Red lines are NST curves. You can see that the NST lines are always higher, at every RPM point that you look at. |
