If there are dyno numbers before the GB closes, I might be interested. I don't want to lose any low end torque.

MR have advised that it will fit the 3/4/5 Door with no modification necessary. The prototype they have is fitted to their lb, but they haven't had a chance to run the Dyno yet. I've just been advised that if anyone is willing to run the dyno for them that they would offer that individual an additional reduction of $50USD on their purchase. They have tons of other projects on the go and just haven't had the time to get the testing done. Anyone interested?

They should give us free headers so we can test it out for them and tell them what we think and how much added boost we get!! Hehehe, we shouldnt have to pay them money so we can test their prototype product =P!!

I tried positioning it that way as well, unfortunately they don't feel the same. As it stands I look at it as a fantastic opportunity because we'll essentially have product before even some of the retailers.

That $210 price is insane... that is about how much you'll pay for Pacesetter headers for most four bangers, and Megan Racing is a far cry! See for yourself...

I'm fasting for these, haha

From that site:

Megan racing headers are made with T-304 stainless steel, Mandrel bent tubing, CNC Machined Flanges. Each set is tested and dynoed to make sure the fitment and performance meet our goal. Each header comes with 1 year warranty.

Oh really?

I'm still on the fence... but leaning.

No high flow cat or midpipe is planned for the time being because there are a ton of sensors and two cats within the midpipe. Depending on how things go with the header, they'll look at producing some other pieces. They've done the testing and fitment on these headers but as I said they haven't had a chance to dyno test them yet. They are projecting 4-6hp gains based on the fact that the everything will be equal length and the overall diameter has been enlarged... So I guess for now it stands as this....

Megan header for Scion Xa/Xb can be found on eBay for $135 (plus $30 shipping). Even if the Yaris parts are a bit pricier at first, I'm sure the price will come down eventually.

No prob bigsky and redglare.. there'll always be next time... dngz no dyno yet so there's no way of telling.. although with 4-1 headers its generally only an increase in the top end hp.... 03z33 I know what you're talking about... this is what they can do.. if you can wait I'm sure that there'll be more deals down the line.. I myself am still mod hungry so I know I'm paying premium prices.. but I want it now.... so too bad for me...

got another question!! haha! let's say i get the headers with stock exhaust and they say its around 4-6 hp gain from the headers... if I get custom exhaust, will there still be a potential gain from these headers?? Like, if headers give 4-6 hp.. with stock exhaust, and without the headers but custom exhaust gives me extra 8-10... with both combined, will it be 12-16hp gain?? or will they combine and help each other out performance wise to have a gain of 15-18 hp??

LOL hope u understand!! Read it again and even confused myself a little... but yea.. I dunno how to explain it any better ><!

I'm not sure that the gains will help multiply any hp gains, but it should help with the overall performance.. whenever you tune a car you're always trying to eliminate the weakest link.. the headers are just one way of doing this.

Let's say this header does give you 6hp(up top), and if you put on an exhust aswell then you'll probably only get the hp that exhaust will add. For example tanabe dynoed with an additional 4-5hp or something like that. so you get 6hp fom the header, and then another 4hp from tanabe exhaust, but probably no more. The reason for this is because your cat(s) will still be in place. If someone comes out with a test pipe kind of thing for the yaris then you can get the full potential out of these mods.
