FS: Denso Iridium POWER plugs NIB

Guys I have a brand new set of "IRIDIUM POWER" (.4 mm iridium electrode + u-groove) plugs fs $9.00 each. Don't confuse these with the denso iridium "long life" plugs (.7mm iridium electrode) which are equivalent to stock replacements.

Pm me for paypal info.

how does the grooved differ from the "long life" plugs in terms of needing to be replaced/mpg effects etc?

I believe the grooved is a higher performance version, coupled with the .4mm tip. Which means shorter life compared to the long life type.

The Denso power plugs just give slightly better acceleration as the groove is supposed to better concentrate the spark. The key word here is "slightly"

Denso recomends that you change the "power plugs" at about 30k miles. This is due to the wear effect on the groove that hinders the benefit of the power plug.
However it is still servicable well beyond that and will then act as a regular iridium plug.

I had the Denso power plugs in my Celica GT (the exact same plugs as the Yaris) and I had them in for over 45k miles (until I sold the Celica) and it ran just fine.

$9.00 each is a good price providing shipping is not too high.

I ran these plugs in my 2005 V6 Tacoma & actually lost MPG, & felt no power increase. Hopefully they work better in the Yaris engine.

Perhaps disclosing the plug number would help sales by allowing the shoppers to be confident they are the correct plug for our application. Boosted Yari run colder plugs.

Not necessary, these are for NA yari. All models. Not recommended for custom "turbo" engines.
