Keep in mind the trade-off between longevity and performance. Long life tires have a much harder compound resulting in low rates of tread wear, but will not hold in the corners like their sticker higher performance counterparts.

I've not owned them personally, but have always been impressed by the experiences of people I know running Generals.

Please try to post your threads in the correct thread section. It's getting old moving all the stuff from the "general discussion" when this was clearly tire related. I've moved it to the proper sections

Could not care less about stickiness. Much rather have longevity/mpg.

TR 442's $82 each. Mich Defender $115 each.

Where did you get yours for $59???

" Where did you get yours for $59??? "

That was through a G.M. dealer . There's 2 offers of $50 and $100 mail-in-rebates ( debit card ) that end September 30th . Go here for details , http://www.mycertifiedservice.com/au...res_oem_offers . The tires allowed are BF Goodrich , Dunlop , Firestone , General , and Michelin ( Defenders ) at $50 off . The Bridgestone , Continental , Goodyear , Hankook , and Pirelli get the $100 discount . There's 5,000 plus miles on the 422s' . They seem to have a hard compound . Partially made from recycled tires . The GM dealer you choose to go through may match the internet price of Tirebuyer . Has to have free shipping / handling to match the online price . Our local GM dealer did this . Thus the $59 each .
