i drove the New TS

hey guys

i took the 1.8 TS for a test drive today , and here is what i found the differences between the 1.3 /1.5 and the 1.8

1 - first of , the all disc brakes make a huge difference in stopping power.

2 - the torque is really good ,pulls well from 3rd gear

3 - close ratio gearbox is awesome !

4 - and i love the 3 door format , we have the 3door 1.8 here in South africa

all round , not bad at all , although i feel the car is restricted and that a good exhaust will do wonders for the power on that car

mmmmm , i think im gonna trade up for a 1.8 next year ,

and then just transfer all my current mods IE tein super compacts , strut bars etc to the 1.8

You got right. Pretty much those are the biggest differences.

I did changed my 1.5 Yaris for a TS... Good change!

Regading the exhaust: Toyota kept the same exhaust from the headers back on the 1.8 engine... 1.75" pipe

2.25" pipes with a CAI made a nice difference in my car.

If I decided to move to Cape Town would you have a comfortable couch for me to sleep on for a little while? I'm tired of living in the USA
