Supercharged 2nz-fe VVTI tuning
We're in the process of tuning the my 2nz-fe supercharged Yaris. The ECU we're using a Link Storm (complete replacement) which is able to control the VVTi, but what we're experiencing is that making adjustments to oil pressure/ solenoid is making no difference to the power in the dyno runs, even at either extreme?
Has anyone here had any experience with VVTi tuning on a supercharged 1nz or 2nz? |

I tried on my 1NZ using a camcon, didn't see a single gain. Only lost more power as the adjustments increased.

I guess the additional incoming air is basically negating the effects of the VVTI adjustment.
The difference running a dyno at either extreme of the range was less than 1kw in the end. Oh well, I guess that free's up a channel on my ECU for something else :) |
