Too bad they don't have one in Texas that sells new.
The beauty of their website is that provide you good printout of what you can ask another dealer for. I did that on my Yaris. I was set to drive to North Chicago and buy my Yaris but emailed all the local Toyota dealers that I was about to drive to buy my Yaris and could they at least match the deal that Carmax was giving.

Butler Toyota in Indianapolis emailed back that they had the same color but had a few more options but would give me the car for the same price. I actually got a better deal.

So use the website to find out what a good discount is and use it to your advantage with another dealer.

I'm not one of them. Nothing in this world is free. Someone, somewhere always pays.

Just talked to a progressive.com agent for an hour about the yaris. He apparently has a 2009 and loves it. The new car is going to cost me 16 more a month over my 2001 echo for the same amount of coverage.

It's slightly more complicated than the Echo, I would think. Therefore, parts would be slightly more expensive in the event of an accident, hence, a slightly higher premium.

Still a great value.

Hello,

New to the forum. I just traded my 2011 Prius II off. The reasons for this are many and if you want to know I can expand on it.

I purchased a Classic Silver 5 dr SE last night. I have several initial thoughts and will post more as I get used to the car and its functions.

Bluetooth Pairing is the easiest I have performed on any car I have owned/rented. My iPhone connects and disconnects seamlessly. Toyota got this right! If I am listening on my headphones to a podcast or audio book, the transition from headphones to car and back just work. Something that was not good with the BluLogic module on my Prius.

My wife had an 2007 Yaris 3 dr. The difference in fit and finish and associated refinements are noticeable and provide for a better driving experience. And there were no major complaints about the 07...my wife misses the car and regrets selling it.

The SE suspension 'sport tuning' IS noticeable. The stabilizer bar is a welcomed edition.
Looking forward to the availability of lowering springs from Eibach or other maker.

16" wheels are tasteful and will not need to be removed immediately-I will keep them for a while.

I miss all the extra glove box like storage of my wife's old 2007. There is a nice cubby in the upper left portion of the dash that will hold a smart phone.

I am still trying to get used to the "Angry Red" dash illumination.

Looking forward to getting to know the Yaris community.

mr9865 , make sure the insurance agent is giving you all discounts . We didn't at one time and the insurance had to give us credit . They do miss safety features .
